Five sensors are
available for speed and traffic monitoring on the road plus 2 more for rail
use. They all look
the same, but each functions differently. For road use:
1) Monitor II sensor for approaching only traffic,
2) Monitor
III patch uses patch antenna instead of lens horn,
3) Monitor IV sensor for moving mode operation, including ground
speed sensing, and the
4) Monitor
V sensor for slow speed approaching traffic or pedestrians.
5) Monitor
VI wireless sensor for approaching and receding traffic or pedestrians.
Active
Road Signs often include one of the four sensors above.
To show the
measurements from any of these sensors, we also offer smart looking
Speed
Signs.

Active
Road Signs flash bright LED's when vehicles approach
in the wrong direction or at unsafe
speeds. The speed at which flashing starts is programmed on site.
