The high intensity 15" LED digits flash when  vehicles exceed safe approach speeds on these Add-On Speed Signs.  When activated, the radar measured speed can be seen at 1000 feet.  The speed at which flashing activates is field programmable in 5 mph increments.

The all enclosed units have a door that opens to the front for power access and speed settings.  The small radar that measures the speed is embedded out of sight in the sign.  The unit may be powered by 110 V ac, 220 V ac or 12 V dc.  

Mounting hardware for 3 to 4 inch round or square poles is included.    

A 30 second tuning fork mode allows verification when electrical power is applied.  This unit matches 24 inch MUTCD signs.
