Measuring Sensor for Trains
This
24 GHz radar in a weatherproof steel enclosure measures the distance to an
object in the beam’s path, then outputs the results in a computer compatible
RS232 format. The sensor comes in
2 configurations, a short range unit for trains, traffic and pedestrians in or
near the crossing, and a long range unit for oncoming, receding or stopped
trains along the track.
