Ship Speed Sensor

 

This microwave sensor measures both the speed and direction of movement of docking ships from 4 cm/sec to 5 m/sec.  Two sensors spaced 30 to 60 meters apart on the dock are used for the approach of large vessels.  The sensors may be used as part of a docking system or with a local display.
